The Advocacy and Resource Center is seeking a dependable and organized Fiscal Intermediary Specialist to join our Self-Directed Services team. This position works closely with individuals and families to help manage Self-Directed Services budgets, maintain required documentation, and ensure services remain compliant and run smoothly. Responsibilities • Serve as a liaison between the agency, individuals receiving services, and their families • Manage assigned Self-Directed Services budgets appropriately • Review paperwork for accuracy and completeness • Maintain regular communication with individuals and families • Attend Launch Meetings and other meetings as required • Help ensure regulatory compliance and continuity of services • Complete additional duties assigned by the FI Assistant Director or FI Program Director Qualifications • Associate degree in Business Administration, Human Services, or a related field • At least two years of human services and/or office experience • Proficiency in Microsoft Office • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills • Clean and valid New York State driver’s license • Ability to bend, twist, kneel, climb stairs or ladders, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds Generous benefits package includes: • Health insurance • Dental and Vision insurance • Paid time off • Vacation time • Parental leave • Life Insurance • Cancer Insurance • Retirement plan with employer match The Advocacy and Resource Center qualifies as a public service loan forgiveness employer.
