Floor Vinyl Installer

Key Responsibilities• Responsible for preparing floors and installing vinyl flooring materials on residential, commercial, healthcare, educational and industrial settings• Measure and assess areas for flooring installation• Prepare floors by cleaning, levelling, sanding and applying DPM layers and levelling compounds• Install vinyl and safety flooring materials• Cut and fit flooring materials accurately around walls, corners, fixtures and fittings• Apply adhesives and secure flooring to manufacturers specifications• Weld and seal joints to vinyl• Install cove formers, skirting and finishing trims• Ability to read drawings, plans and specifications• Knowledge of floor preparation• Proficiency with flooring tools and equipment• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with quality workmanship• Assist with other site duties when required
