Get a $1,000 sign-on bonus! ** Position Summary: The Food Service Worker – Hillcrest provides table service to residents by taking orders for food and beverages, delivering orders to the table, and ensuring that residents have a pleasant dining experience. This role assists with the day to day dietary needs of the residents related to their personalized care plan. Assists residents with care in transfers and attendance at meals, activities and appointments. Minimum Qualifications: ServSafe required within 2 months of hire Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred: 1 year of caregiver or aide in a ALF, LTC, SNF or hospital experience Essential Job Functions: In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements. Greets residents as they are seated at the table; ensures the table is clean and that utensils, napkins, and other needs have been provided. Assists with meal service, catering or special event. Assists with new resident orientation to dining room and resident care as directed by personalized care plans. Ensures that food is prepared correctly and to customer’s satisfaction; returns incorrect or improperly prepared orders to kitchen. Maintains a clean, sanitized and attractive work area, small wares storage area, dining room. Assists with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area, washing/preparing silverware and set up, stocks and maintains resident coffee area. Performs other related duties as assigned. Stocks and maintains par levels of food and non-food items. Ensures all foods are properly stored according to department expectations. The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
