**Foreman** **NU-YAR Construction** **Gray, ME** **NU-YAR Construction** is seeking a **Foreman** to work at their residential client locations throughout Southern Maine and out of their Gray, ME office. ### Requirements of the Foreman: - 10+ years of construction experience with a strong residential Construction Management background. - OSHA30 and RRP certified. - Blueprint literacy. - Diverse construction industry background with knowledge of all aspects of the trade. - Ability to work independently and lift 100 pounds. - Demonstrated carpentry skills with proven experience. ### Benefits of the Job: - Annual salary range of $90-$120k depending upon experience - Paid Time Off (vacation and personal days) - 7 Paid Holidays - Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance – NU-YAR Construction pays 100% of employee’s premium currently (after 90 days) - Simple IRA with 3% Employer Match - 2 paid full day training sessions annually - Monthly team lunch - Uniform – hat, t-shirts, sweatshirts - Gas Stipend/Truck ### Responsibilities of the Foreman: - Envision the finished project and develop a schedule to keep it on track, on time, and on budget. - Take the lead role on assigned projects. - Read and study the blueprints, lay out the project and assign crew members their roles. - Attend pre-construction meetings. - Perform site assessments. - Create material lists, order materials, and coordinate material deliveries. - Coordinate subcontractors. - Maintain regular communication with clients to provide project updates, discuss financial matters, and address any concerns promptly. - Create Additional Work Authorizations as needed. - Proactively schedule all project details and anticipate future needs. - Give direction and training to carpenters, apprentice carpenters, and laborers. - Order and purchase all equipment rentals, supplies, and tools with approval from management. - Adhere to all NU-YAR Construction safety policies, ensure safety meetings are held weekly, and enforce all policies with crew members.
