Forward Deployed Software Engineer

We are headquartered in Singapore and have more than 400 employees across a wide range of disciplines in strategy, design, architecture, technology, data & AI.* **Our Purpose** - Place client value and human experience at the centre of everything we do. - Leverage technology, AI and data to solve complex business challenges and deliver transformative outcomes. - Build trusted, scalable, and impactful digital solutions across public and private sectors. - Foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning across our teams. **Your Role** - Partner closely with clients to understand business challenges and translate them into scalable technology solutions. - Design, build, and deploy production-grade applications that leverage AI, data, and cloud technologies to create measurable business value. - Work directly with client stakeholders, product teams, AI engineers, data scientists, and solution architects to deliver end-to-end solutions. - Rapidly prototype, iterate, and productionise solutions based on user feedback and evolving business requirements. - Serve as a trusted technical advisor, bridging business needs and technical implementation. - Invest continuously in building and extending your technical, consulting, and domain expertise. **Requirements** Software Engineering & Development - Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience building scalable, production-grade applications. - Proficiency in Python and modern backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Django, or Node.js. - Experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications. - Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is advantageous. Cloud & Platform Engineering - Experience deploying applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. - Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines. - Understanding of scalability, reliability, and distributed systems. AI & Data Applications - Experience integrating AI, GenAI, or machine learning capabilities into business applications. - Familiarity with platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI, LangChain, or LangGraph is advantageous. - Ability to collaborate with AI Engineers and Data Scientists to productionise AI solutions. Client Delivery & Consulting - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver solutions in ambiguous environments. - High ownership mindset with a track record of driving initiatives end-to-end. - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business audiences. - Ability to quickly understand client challenges and translate them into practical solutions. - Comfortable engaging clients directly. *Temus is an equal opportunities employer.
