Founding Strategy and Operations Analyst role - London

Job description

## **Building a More Resilient World** When things go wrong, insurance has one job: get people and businesses back on their feet. Too often, it doesn't. At ClaimSorted, we're changing that, and building a more resilient world where people and businesses have the confidence to go after bigger opportunities. We're creating the company that will define how claims are handled for the next generation. The world's largest insurers and Fortune 500 companies already trust us to handle their claims and manage their risk. And we're moving fast. We grew 10x in the past year, raised one of the largest InsurTech rounds of its kind, and are backed by Y Combinator, Atomico and Eurazeo. We ship, learn and improve every week, never settling for "how it's always been done." We're just getting started. There's never been a better time to join. **The Role** Handling claims at scale requires a strong operational foundation. As our Founding Strategy & Operations Analyst, you’ll help build the operational capability that lets ClaimSorted deliver market-leading claims handling while running efficiently as we grow. You’ll work with data to find problems, then take on the projects that fix them, increasing the speed and volume of operational change across the company. As part of this role you will: - Design and implement efficient claims processes and procedures, and make sure they are adopted and hold up as the team grows. - Build and manage the KPIs and metrics we use to handle claims and run the organisation as efficiently as possible. - Analyse operational data to understand problems, surface insights, and turn them into practical solutions. - Take ownership of small projects and support complex cross-functional initiatives, from scoping through to delivery. - Work with teams across the company to make operational changes land quickly. We love working together in the office, so this is a full-time, office-based role in our London office. We’re a high-intensity team and often put in significant time and effort, because we believe great outcomes come from doing the work well. **Qualifications** - 2+ years of experience in consulting, data or analytics, or operations at a startup, tech firm or consultancy - Demonstrated experience working with data to provide insights, understand problems and deliver effective solutions - Demonstrated experience implementing solutions and running small projects or changes - Strong written and spoken communication, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally - A generalist mindset: comfortable picking up whatever problem matters most and moving quickly - Insurance or claims experience is a plus, but not required **Our Values** - Move Fast – Act decisively, iterate quickly, optimise for momentum. - Always Overdeliver – We exceed expectations in everything we do. - Think Customer-First, Always – The customer experience drives every decision. - Challenge the Status Quo – We innovate relentlessly and never settle for ‘good enough.’ - Say It How It Is – Transparency and direct communication build trust. **COMPENSATION & BENEFITS** - Generous, transparent equity participation - 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays - 30 days of remote work annually - Private medical insurance - Pension contributions - Company offsites - Accelerated promotion track in a high-growth environment
