Our partner is looking for a Fraud Operations Manager based in United States.** As a Fraud Operations Manager, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for investigating and managing complex fraud and risk challenges. You will define the strategic direction of the team while ensuring strong execution across both immediate priorities and long-term initiatives. The role combines people leadership, operational excellence, risk mitigation, and continuous process improvement in a rapidly evolving environment. You will work closely with risk leaders and cross-functional partners to identify high-impact opportunities that improve user experience while reducing exposure to fraud. You will use data, performance metrics, and root-cause analysis to strengthen investigative processes and anticipate emerging risks. Your leadership will help build a scalable, adaptable fraud operations organization equipped to respond to increasingly sophisticated threats. This is an opportunity to shape both the people and systems that enable effective risk management at scale. ### Accountabilities: - Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing fraud investigations team, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and results-oriented environment. - Establish clear objectives, provide ongoing coaching and feedback, and support the professional growth and development of team members. - Define the team's strategic vision and translate long-term priorities into actionable plans and measurable short-term initiatives. - Continuously evolve fraud operations strategies to improve scalability, address operational challenges, and respond effectively to an increasingly complex fraud landscape. - Partner with risk leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to identify and prioritize high-return investments in user experience, process improvements, and risk mitigation. - Maintain oversight of operational vendors supporting risk-related activities and monitor their performance against expectations. - Lead root-cause analysis to identify opportunities to predict, prevent, and mitigate fraud and other risks across operational processes. - Define, monitor, and manage core performance metrics, service-level agreements, and organizational KPIs. - Identify gaps in existing systems, processes, and strategies and lead enhancements designed to address current and emerging risks. - Balance risk-management objectives with the need to deliver a seamless, user-centric experience. **Requirements:** - 10+ years of experience in fraud, risk, or management roles, including at least 2 years of direct experience leading and developing high-performing teams. - Strong strategic-thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to break down complex challenges and translate them into practical, actionable solutions. - Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence senior partners and collaborate effectively across multiple functions. - Strong commitment to delivering a user-centric experience while maintaining effective and sustainable risk controls. - Expertise in fraud and risk management, including data analysis, root-cause analysis, operational performance management, and process improvement. - Experience analyzing data and developing dashboards, visualizations, and performance reporting to support decision-making. - Strong proficiency in sourcing, querying, and analyzing data using SQL. - Experience partnering closely with engineering teams to develop, improve, and scale investigative tools and risk treatments. - Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field is preferred; an advanced degree or professional certification is a plus. **Benefits:** - Opportunity to lead and shape a high-performing fraud operations organization. - Strategic ownership of initiatives focused on operational scalability, risk mitigation, and process improvement. - Cross-functional exposure and collaboration with risk, engineering, and other business stakeholders. - Opportunity to influence both user experience and risk-management strategy. - Professional growth through team leadership, strategic initiatives, and continuous organizational development.
