Bij Courtyard by Marriott Amsterdam Airport draait alles om gastvrijheid met precisie, van de zakelijke gast die vroeg incheckt door een vlucht tot het gezin dat een paar dagen Amsterdam wil ontdekken. Ons Front Office team is het kloppende hart van ons hotel en zorgt ervoor dat elke gast zich vanaf de eerste seconde welkom voelt.
Als Front Office Manager ben jij hét aanspreekpunt voor het Front Office team en zorg je voor een soepele, gastvrije dagelijkse operatie van de Front Office. Je coördineert en ondersteunt bij het in- en uitchecken, gastcontact en de bijbehorende administratieve processen en bewaakt daarbij continu de kwaliteit van service, procedures en uitstraling van de afdeling. Je stelt roosters op, verdeelt de werkzaamheden en stuurt je medewerkers aan. Bij klachten of complexe situaties pak jij door en schakel je waar nodig met de General Manager.

WAT GA JE DOEN?
Je geeft leiding aan het Front Office team en bent verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse operatie van de Front Office;
Je coördineert en ondersteunt bij werkzaamheden zoals in- en uitchecken, gastcontact en administratieve processen;
Je bewaakt de kwaliteit van service, procedures en de uitstraling van de afdeling;
Je maakt roosters, stuurt medewerkers aan en motiveert het team in hun ontwikkeling;
Je werkt operationeel mee en treedt regelmatig op als Duty Manager;
Je behandelt klachten en complexe situaties en schakelt waar nodig met de General Manager;
Je denkt actief mee over verbeteringen binnen de afdeling en het hotel;
Je ziet toe op naleving van de Marriott standaarden.
WIE ZOEKEN WIJ?
Een geboren gastheer/vrouw met leidinggevende ervaring, die energie krijgt van het coachen en ontwikkelen van een team. Je bent representatief, hebt oog voor detail en weet ook in drukke of onverwachte situaties het overzicht te bewaren. Je voelt je thuis binnen een internationale hotelketen en staat voor kwaliteit.
WAT VERWACHTEN WIJ VAN JOU?
Je hebt minimaal 3 jaar werkervaring in de Front Office, waarvan minimaal 2 jaar in een leidinggevende rol;
Goede beheersing van de Engelse taal, Nederlands is een pré;
Je hebt ervaring met OPERA;
Sterke communicatieve en organisatorische vaardigheden;
Je bent flexibel, stressbestendig en oplossingsgericht;
Je hebt een hands-on mentaliteit.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
Salaris tussen €2900 en €3678 conform Functiegroep 7 van de Horeca CAO. Passend bij jouw kwaliteiten en ervaring.
Reiskostenvergoeding conform staffel, à 23 cent per kilometer vanaf 7.5 km enkele reis met een maximum van € 205.83 per maand.
1x per jaar overnachten in het Element by Marriott Amsterdam Hotel of Courtyard by Marriott Amsterdam Airport en ieder kwartaal een gratis lunch of diner met familie of vrienden ter waarde van €200.
Fietsplan via Lease a Bike, de mogelijkheid om na proefperiode direct een fiets te leasen!

Our Front Office team is the beating heart of our hotel and ensures that every guest feels welcome from the very first second.
As Front Office Manager, you’re the primary point of contact for the Front Office team and ensure the smooth, hospitable day-to-day operation of the Front Office. You coordinate and support check-in and check-out procedures, guest interactions, and the associated administrative processes, while continuously monitoring the quality of service, procedures, and the department’s image. You’ll create schedules, assign tasks, and manage your staff. In the event of complaints or complex situations, you’ll take the lead and consult with the General Manager as needed.

WHAT TO EXPECT?
You will lead the Front Office team and be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Front Office;
You will coordinate and assist with tasks such as check-in and check-out, guest interactions, and administrative processes;
You will ensure the quality of service, procedures, and the department’s image;
You will create schedules, supervise staff, and motivate the team in their professional development;
You will participate in day-to-day operations and regularly serve as Duty Manager;
You will handle complaints and complex situations and consult with the General Manager as needed;
You will actively contribute ideas for improvements within the department and the hotel;
You will ensure compliance with Marriott standards.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
A natural host/ hostess with leadership experience who thrives on coaching and developing a team. You are professional in your appearance, have an eye for detail, and can maintain a clear overview even in busy or unexpected situations. You feel at home within an international hotel chain and are committed to quality.
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
You have at least 3 years of work experience in the Front Office, including at least 2 years in a managerial role;
You are fluent in English, Dutch is a plus;
You have experience with OPERA;
Strong communication and organizational skills;
You are flexible, able to handle stress, and solution-oriented;
You have a hands-on mentality.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
Salary between €2,900 and €3,678 in accordance with Job Group 7 of the Hospitality Collective Bargaining Agreement. Commensurate with your skills and experience.
Travel allowance based on a sliding scale, at 23 cents per kilometer starting at 7.5 km one way, with a maximum of €205.83 per month.
One overnight stay per year at Courtyard by Marriott Amsterdam Airport or Element by Marriott Amsterdam Hotel, and a free lunch or dinner with family or friends every quarter, valued at €200.
Bike lease plan through Lease a Bike, with the option to lease a bike immediately after the trial period!
