Job Title: Full Stack Developer (Python | Node.js | AI-Enabled) ROLE OVERVIEW Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with strong expertise across modern frontend and backend technologies, cloud integrations, containerized environments, and AI-powered application development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications and intelligent platform services. This role requires hands-on experience with React, Next.js, FastAPI, Python, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Azure services, and LLM integrations . The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who can work across the entire technology stack, troubleshoot complex issues, contribute to architectural decisions, and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional engineering team. This specification aligns closely with engineering capabilities identified in existing internal software development job templates and senior engineering specifications. Key Responsibilities Frontend Development Design and develop responsive web applications using React and Next.js. Build reusable, maintainable, and scalable UI components. Implement state management using Redux Toolkit. Develop robust forms and validation workflows using React Hook Form and Yup. Maintain component libraries and design system standards. Implement frontend unit and integration tests using Vitest and Testing Library. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to deliver high-quality user experiences. Backend Development Design, develop, and maintain Python services using FastAPI. Build secure RESTful APIs and backend service integrations. Implement SQLAlchemy models and database access layers. Develop and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and migrations. Integrate Redis for caching, session management, and high-performance data access. Implement authentication, authorization, and API security controls. Develop automated tests using Pytest. AI & LLM Engineering Integrate OpenAI and Azure OpenAI services into production applications. Develop and maintain LangChain-based workflows. Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions. Design prompt engineering and output validation strategies. Support observability and monitoring of AI interactions. Troubleshoot AI model performance, reliability, and response quality. Cloud & Platform Engineering Configure and maintain Azure-based application services. Integrate Azure Blob Storage and Azure AI Search. Implement application telemetry using OpenTelemetry and Azure Monitor. Support deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure integrations. DevOps & Containerization Build and maintain Docker files and Docker Compose environments. Manage service orchestration across frontend, backend, database, and caching layers. Configure service networking, ports, health checks, and environment variables. Support local and cloud deployments of containerized services. Participate in CI/CD improvements and deployment automation. Quality & Engineering Excellence Write and maintain automated frontend and backend test suites. Conduct code reviews and uphold coding standards. Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning. Troubleshoot issues across UI, APIs, databases, containers, and cloud services. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Minimum Technical Baseline The successful developer must be able to: Run frontend and backend services locally using Docker Compose. Trace and debug requests from UI through APIs to data stores. Develop and expose new API endpoints. Integrate backend functionality with frontend components. Write automated tests for frontend and backend changes. Troubleshoot AI and retrieval workflows. Support production incidents and debugging activities. Nice-to-Have Skills AWS Cognito integration. HAProxy configuration and troubleshooting. Performance profiling and optimization. Distributed systems architecture. Production observability dashboards. Secure secrets and key management platforms. Experience with AI-first or Agentic Development environments. Qualifications Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Equivalent practical experience will be considered.
