**Full Stack Web Developer** **Job Type:**Full-Time **Schedule:**PST hours preferred **Location:**Remote # **About the Role** We are seeking a self-motivated Full Stack Web Developer to join a collaborative team, working closely with product / engineering leadership at our client to build new features, improve existing systems, and deliver a seamless user experience. This is a fast-paced environment where ambiguity and quick pivots are the norm, and it suits someone who enjoys writing clean code, solving complex problems, and building scalable applications. # **Key Responsibilities** - Design, build and maintain scalable web applications, front-end and back-end - Translate wireframes, mockups and functional specs into high-quality code - Build responsive, modern UIs using React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS - Develop back-end services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express - Work with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases, including schema design and query development - Integrate third-party services and APIs, such as Stripe, OpenAI and authentication providers - Implement background job processing (BullMQ/Redis) and handle data imports/exports (CSV, Excel) - Optimize applications for speed, scalability and performance - Implement testing, CI/CD workflows and version control best practices - Troubleshoot and debug across the full stack and external services - Maintain clear documentation to support future scaling - Collaborate with product and engineering teams and iterate on customer feedback # **What We're Looking For** - 3+ years of full-stack web development experience - Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and React - Back-end experience with Node.js and Express - Experience with PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL databases - Experience building and consuming REST APIs - Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP or Azure) and deployment workflows using Docker - Strong Git and version control skills - Ability to work independently and in a lean, fast-paced team - Strong communication and collaboration skills # **Preferred Experience** - Experience at early-stage startups or with MVP development - Experience with AI integration (OpenAI or similar APIs, basic prompt engineering) or chatbot interfaces - Experience with Supabase, Stripe, BullMQ/Redis and web scraping tools - Familiarity with the client's industry # **Perks & Benefits** - 100% remote work - Flexible schedule with a preference for PST overlap - Collaborative, mission-driven culture focused on innovation, ownership and impact - Opportunities for professional growth and skill development - Chance to work with innovative teams and modern AI tools - Supportive team environment with global talent
