Fund Financial & Regulatory Reporting Analyst, Senior Associate

Job description

Reviews complex fund financial reporting deliverables completed by third party service providers to verify accuracy, and assists in resolving issues. Acts as a peer lead for the team. Leads the daily oversight process. Core Responsibilities 1. Perform analytical review of reports for low to medium complexity funds for accuracy. Validate results and perform control checks to ensure accurate results from service providers whilst assisting in resolving data issues or requests for information Oversee the completion of the group's key deliverables. Review selected financial reports for accuracy. Support dividend and capital gain distribution process and tax reporting functions as assigned. Analyse financial reports, and researches and resolves items that exceed established tolerance levels Complete fund financial statements and reports for shareholder and regulatory reporting in accordance with local regulatory reporting requirements. Shares knowledge and assists colleagues with problem resolution Identify and document any areas of control gaps whilst recommending improvements and assisting with strengthening and maintaining the internal control framework Maintain policies and procedures and identify opportunities for improvement and makes recommendations for process improvements. Ensure controls are implemented and executed to mitigate risk Develop and maintain a broad understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and compliance Keep up to date on global regulatory changes that will affect fund financial statement disclosures, and works with third party service providers and auditors to develop and implement changes Facilitate the fund certification process, including scheduling and preparing necessary certification documents Qualifications Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience within Finance or Accounting Proven experience of working within fund reporting or fund accounting Previous experience of managing internal team projects and initiatives How We Work Vanguard has implemented a hybrid working model for the majority of our crew members, designed to capture the benefits of enhanced flexibility while enabling in-person learning, collaboration, and connection.
