General Administrative Coordinator

Job description

### **About Sunrise Group** Sunrise Group is building the future of sleep health by combining breakthrough technology with expert care. We started in 2015 with a straightforward idea: sleep diagnosis should happen in the comfort of your own home, not in a hospital. To make that possible, we created a first-of-its-kind chin sensor, carefully validated through clinical research, reviewed by leading sleep experts, and cleared by the FDA. Since then, Sunrise Group has grown from a single innovation into a complete sleep health company. We now design advanced diagnostic and treatment solutions, and we deliver care directly to patients through [Dreem Health](https://dreemhealth.com/), our digital sleep clinic. By serving patients in all 50 states with reimbursed care, we are making sleep treatment more accessible, more personal, and much simpler than it has ever been. ### Your Opportunity This role provides broad administrative support to a U.S. healthcare operations team, covering task assignment and reporting, alert handling, insurance mail verification and forwarding, basic patient profile checks, and patient/team communication by email. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple structured workflows at once, and able to communicate clearly with both U.S. patients and internal teams. #### **Assignation & Reporting** - Assign incoming cases, tasks, or tickets to the appropriate team member or queue based on defined workflows. - Track task status and follow up to ensure timely completion. - Flag bottlenecks or delays to the team lead. - Maintain accurate records in internal systems to support reporting accuracy. **Alert Handling** - Monitor and process incoming alerts (system, workflow, or case-related). - Triage alerts by priority and route them to the correct person or team. - Take first-line action on routine alerts and escalate complex ones. - Document alert resolution clearly and consistently. #### **Insurance Mail Verification & Forwarding** - Review incoming insurance-related correspondence (mail, faxes, portal notifications) for accuracy and completeness. - Verify that documents match the correct patient case and insurance file. - Forward verified correspondence to the appropriate team (billing, care coordination, clinical) in a timely manner. - Identify missing or inconsistent information and follow up as needed. #### **Patient Profile Verification** - Perform basic checks on patient profiles for completeness and accuracy (contact details, policy information, demographic data). - Flag discrepancies or outdated information for correction. - Support the insurance verification team with light data checks as needed — full coverage verification remains with the specialist team. #### **Patient & Team Communication (Email)** - Communicate with internal U.S. teams (billing, care coordinators, clinical) by email to relay information, flag issues, or request missing documentation. - Escalate sensitive or complex patient questions to the appropriate specialist. #### **Documentation & Data Protection Compliance** - Maintain complete and structured documentation across all workflows (assignation, alerts, mail, communications). - Follow strict data protection standards when handling patient information (including HIPAA requirements applicable to U.S. healthcare). - Ensure secure handling of sensitive personal and medical data in a cross-border environment. ### What You Bring - Excellent spoken and written English. - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously. - Strong attention to detail. - Clear, professional, and empathetic communication style. - Structured and methodical approach to work. - Ability to manage high volumes of tasks accurately. - Cultural sensitivity when interacting with U.S. patients. - Problem-solving mindset and ownership of assigned tasks. - Strong interest in healthcare operations or structured administrative processes. - Comfortable working in a digital and technology-driven environment. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures. - Ability to work with multiple online platforms and internal tools at the same time. - Organised, reliable, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting. ### What We Offer - Work that matters: improving lives through better sleep - Real ownership, real impact, real trust - A close-knit team that works seriously — and laughs often - Remote-friendly culture - Hospitalization insurance (Alan) - Extra paid time off (20 days + 12 RTT) - Payflip cafeteria plan ### Our Team Values At Sunrise Group, we keep things clear and simple ✨, value trust and collaboration 🤝, and lead with optimism and compassion 🌞. These values guide everything we do. We hire humans, not bullet points. Don’t meet every single qualification? That’s okay. We care more about who you are than what’s on your CV. We’re looking for people who are curious, resourceful, and ready to roll up their sleeves — especially if you’re excited about building something new in healthcare. So if you think you could make an impact here, reach out to us. Dreem Health / Sunrise is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We welcome people of all backgrounds and are committed to building a workplace where everyone feels included and respected. We do not tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind.
