A General crewmember shall perform such job duties and essential functions as listed below as well as any duties and functions as directed by the vessel Master and/or Vessel Manager. Deck Hand : All crewmembers must have the physical abilities to perform the essential functions and normal customary duties of a deckhand. These duties include but are not limited to the following: Operate fishing gear and Mend and repair pots, nets, etc. Stand a navigational night watch. Maintain gear and vessel and help with any repairs. Maintain safety Wear life vests while the vessel is engaged in Prepare meals or assist in galley. When in port, verify that the vessel is properly tied Help with offloading or backloading of products to or from the vessel. Participate in safety drills. Obtain at personal expense a yearly fishing license issued by the State of
