Responsibilities
- Perform geotechnical and direct push Geoprobe explorations and well installations using hollow stem auger and mud rotary methods.
- Carry out day-to-day operation and maintenance of drill rig equipment.
- Document geotechnical borings with daily logs.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.
- Operate within state and local regulations.
Requirements
Successful candidates MUST have:
- Valid driver's license
- Satisfactory driving record
- 4+ years of geotechnical drilling experience
- Experience with direct push Geoprobe drilling
- Experience performing well installations
- Experience documenting geotechnical borings in daily logs
- Experience with hollow stem auger or mud rotary drilling methods
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Able to work on-site
- Able to drive to job sites using a company truck
- OSHA training and experience maintaining drill rigs preferred but not required
