We operate four health centers and offer telehealth statewide as part of a network of 600 Planned Parenthood affiliates nationwide. ## About the Role The Get Real Educator plays a key role in supporting youth sexual health education and leadership development through the Get Real Teen Council (GRTC) program and Get Real curriculum implementation. This position facilitates youth leadership programming, delivers educational workshops, and partners with schools, community organizations, and after-school programs to expand access to evidence-based sexuality education. The Get Real Educator works collaboratively with youth, educators, community partners, and internal teams to support adolescent health education initiatives and strengthen community engagement across an assigned region. ### Your Day to Day: - Facilitate weekly Get Real Teen Council (GRTC) meetings and trainings - Teach the Get Real High School curriculum in school and community settings - Recruit, onboard, and support youth participants - Deliver workshops and presentations to youth and community audiences - Build and maintain relationships with schools, after-school programs, and community partners - Coordinate workshops, events, guest speakers, and outreach activities - Maintain accurate program records and reporting - Collaborate with colleagues on youth education initiatives and special projects ### Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience - 1+ year of experience teaching, facilitating, or delivering programming to youth - Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills - Experience working with high school-aged youth preferred - Sexual health or sexuality education experience preferred - Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region - Access to reliable transportation or ability to travel independently - Ability to work regular evening hours and occasional weekends - Spanish language proficiency is a plus
