Google Ads Media Buyer

Job description

**This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Google Ads Media Buyer – Worldwide at Growth Agency based in Estonia.** As a Google Ads Media Buyer, you will take ownership of paid advertising strategies and campaign performance for direct-to-consumer (DTC) eCommerce brands. You will manage Google Ads accounts end-to-end, from strategic planning and budget allocation to execution, testing, and continuous optimization. Your primary focus will be driving sustainable business growth and maximizing actual profitability rather than simply improving in-platform metrics. Working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, you will have significant responsibility and the opportunity to make independent decisions from an early stage. You will collaborate with experienced professionals, contribute to structured experimentation, and develop your technical and analytical expertise. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on accountability, continuous learning, and measurable results. ### Accountabilities - Manage Google Ads accounts end-to-end, taking ownership of campaign strategy, execution, optimization, budgets, and platform-specific client communications. - Develop and implement performance-driven advertising strategies focused on generating sustainable profit and business growth rather than relying solely on high in-platform ROAS. - Create, launch, manage, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads formats, including Search, Display, Shopping, and Performance Max. - Optimize shopping feeds and collaborate closely with the dedicated feed management specialist to improve campaign efficiency and performance. - Conduct creative and copy testing, write compelling ad copy, contribute to creative briefs, and implement structured testing frameworks. - Analyze campaign performance beyond in-platform metrics, identify trends and opportunities, and translate data into actionable optimization strategies. - Monitor budgets, campaign efficiency, and profitability to ensure advertising investments deliver measurable business outcomes. - Communicate campaign developments, performance insights, and strategic recommendations to clients through Slack and regular meetings. - Maintain detailed notes during strategy discussions, actively seek feedback, ask insightful questions, and continuously deepen your understanding of campaign performance and advertising strategy. - Take ownership of results, proactively identify improvement opportunities, and continuously refine campaign approaches through experimentation and data analysis. ## Requirements: - At least 1–2 years of hands-on Google Ads experience, preferably managing campaigns for DTC eCommerce brands or similar businesses. - Fluent English communication skills, with the confidence to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders. - Strong understanding of profit-focused advertising strategies, with the ability to optimize for actual business profitability rather than vanity metrics or platform-reported performance alone. - Practical experience with Google Ads campaign types, including Search, Display, Shopping, and Performance Max. - Genuine curiosity about the technical aspects of digital advertising, including feed management, Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), conversion tracking, and attribution. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret performance data, identify patterns, and make informed decisions. - Independent working style, strong sense of ownership, and confidence in managing responsibilities without constant supervision. - Growth mindset, intellectual curiosity, and motivation to continuously improve technical and strategic expertise. - Openness to constructive criticism, direct feedback, and challenging professional discussions. - Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment where priorities, strategies, and responsibilities may evolve. - Located within a European time zone or willing to work according to EU time-zone requirements. **This role is particularly suited to candidates who:** - Enjoy taking responsibility and making independent decisions. - Are motivated by measurable results and real business impact. - Welcome challenges, accountability, and continuous professional development. - Prefer an environment that encourages initiative rather than step-by-step supervision. - Are committed to developing deep expertise in performance marketing rather than spreading their efforts across too many areas. A specific academic degree is not required. Practical skills, mindset, analytical thinking, and motivation are the primary selection criteria. ## Benefits: - 100% remote working environment, offering flexibility to work from anywhere. - Flexible working hours, with core availability aligned with European time zones. - Performance-based salary structure, with compensation increases linked to individual results and performance rather than length of service. - Performance bonuses rewarding strong contributions and measurable achievements. - Mentorship opportunities and a clear professional development path, with transparent expectations for career progression. - Personal development budget covering courses, certifications, and professional tools. - Private healthcare coverage. - Company-provided technology and additional work-related benefits. - Direct communication and honest, constructive feedback in both directions. - Collaborative team environment with engaging and enjoyable team meetings. - Opportunity to take ownership of campaigns, work with DTC eCommerce brands, and accelerate your growth in performance marketing.
