Graphic Artist

Job description

Every Jonsson Workwear garment is purpose-built to perform, made to last and fine-tuned for comfort. But it’s the design details that truly make each piece stand out. Whether it’s an iconic graphic print on a T-shirt, eye-catching packaging that wows, a thoughtfully designed swing tag that tells a product’s story, or merchandising documents that inspire our teams – brilliant designs are key to bringing our garments to life across the business. To create the captivating designs that elevate our garments, inform our customers and equip our people, we’re on the lookout for a Graphic Designer with the ambitious talent that will complement our Product team. Your creative vision and passion for transforming distinct concepts into iconic designs will be pivotal in showcasing the quality of our workwear. Beyond creating standout textile designs, you'll also design the informative materials that empower our cross-functional teams; as well as the branding and packaging that augments each product. As an established Graphic Designer, you have a keen eye for visually appealing designs and layouts, as demonstrated in your portfolio. Additionally, your exceptional work ethic, proactive approach and genuine drive to keep improving your skills are some of the traits that set you apart. The skilled designer who joins our Product team will be involved in: - Collaborating with garment designers, as well as Marketing and Visual Merchandising teams to bring cohesive design concepts to life. - Crafting supporting branding, swing tags and packaging that communicate each product’s unique story and features. - Contributing new design ideas that elevate the aesthetics of our workwear, marketing elements and visual merchandising materials. - Maintaining brand consistency by ensuring all designs align with our brand’s visual identity and vision of peak performance. - Combining creative flair with practical considerations to create designs that resonate with our customers and our people. - Handling multiple design projects simultaneously, delivering exceptional work within deadlines. - Staying ahead of design trends and technologies to bring innovative solutions to the table. In line with Jonsson Workwear’s commitment to employment equity, applications from candidates from designated groups, as well as candidates with disabilities, are encouraged.
