Grinding Department Technician About the Role We are hiring a Grinding Department Technician for a hands-on manufacturing position. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. You will be responsible for setting up and operating grinding equipment, monitoring the machining process, and ensuring finished parts meet quality requirements. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate grinding equipment Prepare machines for production runs Load and unload materials and finished parts Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain accuracy Monitor grinding operations and production quality Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications Use basic measuring tools to verify dimensions Identify and address equipment or production issues Follow work orders, specifications, and production instructions Maintain accurate production and quality records as required Perform basic machine care and housekeeping Keep the grinding area clean, organized, and safe Follow all safety procedures and company standards Qualifications Previous grinding, machine operation, manufacturing, or production experience preferred Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail Good math and measurement skills Ability to read and follow written instructions Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Reliable and self-motivated Strong commitment to quality and accuracy Ability to work in a manufacturing environment IND2
