Position at JBS USA Job Title: PANEL OPERATOR Department: GROUND BEEF General Description: JBS Grand Island is seeking a panel operator for our ground beef department. This position consists of providing administrative and clerical support to the fabrication operations management team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited: Set up the grinders before the workday begins. Assist in setting up other equipment. Responsible for filling out the ground beef blender sheet. Responsible for the correct lean points. Responsible for proper CO2 application to all blends/acceptable temperature. Responsible for relaying product codes to the K-pack operator. Ensures that the product is mixed together correctly. Will perform task by monitoring the computerized panel. Monitors product going into accupumps sand K-PACK machine. All other duties as assigned. Requirements: Strong written and communications skills Ability to adapt to new environments and situations Hours of this position vary as dictated by production, additional overtime and weekends as needed EOE/VETS/DISABILITY
