Groundskeeper Assistant - Seasonal Job Description Groundskeeper Assistant is responsible for assisting in maintaining Health Center grounds in an attractive and orderly condition. Trims lawns, plants trees and installs and maintains landscapes sites. Operates lawn care equipment. Department: Plant Operations Hours: PRN (as needed) This is not benefit eligible Required: High School Diploma, Valid IL Driver's License Pay: based on experience, $16.54/hour Responsibilities Cultivates, plants, waters, fertilizes, weeds, edges and trims turf areas, flower beds, shrubs and trees., Operates heavy construction equipment, dump truck, riding and push mowers, tillers, sweepers, edgers and other light yard equipment. Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs including fueling, lubricating and cleaning machinery., Performs lawn renovation including landscape construction of walls, patios, sidewalks and flower beds, and masonry work to upgrade and maintain the appearance and safety of the medical complex., Rakes, collects and disposes of leaves and refuse from the Health Center complex Requirements Driver's License - State of Illinois Compensation Estimated Compensation Range $16.54 - $25.24 Pay based on experience
