Growth Marketing Specialist - 6 months

Job description

Since 2015, Mejuri has reimagined what fine jewelry can be in a modern world—shifting it from a traditional gift to to a personal choice rooted in self-expression. Founded by third-generation jeweller Noura Sakkijha, the brand was built on a simple idea: fine jewelry shouldn’t require a special occasion, and it should never come with guilt. It’s about celebrating yourself—your style, your life, your everyday. Mejuri meets customers where they are—online, in app, and through a growing global retail footprint of 58+ stores worldwide. Mejuri is also deeply committed to doing things the right way, with responsible sourcing, sustainable practices, and philanthropic initiatives that reflect our values and long-term vision. **Job Overview** 6 Month Contract The Growth Marketing Specialist (6 months) owns the performance of Mejuri's paid social channels (Meta, TikTok and Pinterest) and is accountable for the net merchandise value, incremental return on ad spend, and digital traffic they deliver. The role also owns the paid social testing roadmap, including early tests on emerging platforms like YouTube and Reddit. You'll build, launch and optimize campaigns yourself and manage day-to-day spend within the allocations your manager sets. You'll report to the Manager, Growth Marketing, and present results to the VP of Growth. Your closest partner is the Creative team, and you'll also work with Brand, Organic Social, Influencer Marketing, E-commerce and Merchandising, and Data and Analytics, as well as platform reps at Meta, TikTok and Pinterest. The Growth Marketing Manager sets channel strategy and cross-channel budget. You run the channels day to day and bring the data-backed recommendations that decide where they go next. **What you'll do** ***Running Paid Social*** - Campaign execution: Campaigns go live correctly and on time for every drop, launch and commercial moment. You build and traffic them yourself, including manual ad uploads. - Budget pacing: Spend lands on plan each month. You check pacing daily and adjust bids and budgets within each channel's approved allocation. - Optimization: Spend moves toward what's working. You pause underperforming ads, rotate creative, and act on in-flight performance without waiting for sign-off. - Platform issues: Ad rejections, tracking gaps and data discrepancies get resolved without holding up a launch. You work through them directly and escalate only when a cross-team decision is needed. ***Testing and Learning*** - Test roadmap: Each quarter starts with a prioritized list of creative, audience, format, bidding and placement tests. You build and maintain the list and agree on priorities with your manager. - Test design: Test results hold up. You write the hypothesis, set up a clean test, and wait for statistical significance before calling the result. - Emerging platforms: Mejuri learns whether channels like YouTube and Reddit are worth scaling. You propose and run the tests that answer that question. - Recommendations: What you learn turns into decisions. You bring data-backed proposals, such as scaling an audience or adopting a new format. ***Partnering With Creative and the Business*** - Creative feedback: Creative knows what's working and why. You give specific, actionable reads by creative, format and placement, and contribute to briefs. - Brand and performance: Campaigns reflect Mejuri's identity and still drive revenue. When the two pull in different directions, you find the version that serves both. - Launch priorities: Traffic goes to the products and launches that matter most. You align with E-commerce and Merchandising on priorities, landing pages and inventory. - Reporting: Your manager, the Growth team and Finance have an accurate read on performance and pacing. You report weekly and recap each channel monthly. **What you'll bring to the team** - Hands-on paid social experience: 2–4 years personally building, launching and optimizing campaigns in Meta Ads Manager. TikTok or Pinterest experience is strongly preferred. Agency experience counts if you did the work yourself. - Budget accountability: You've managed a monthly budget of [$250k+] and been responsible for its pacing and reallocation. - Analytical rigor: You build your own reports in advanced Google Sheets or Excel, break performance down by creative, audience and placement, and design and read A/B tests, including basic statistical significance. - Measurement fluency: You understand attribution windows and the difference between platform-reported results and incremental impact. - Brand and creative judgment: Brand-side DTC or e-commerce experience, ideally where content and creative drive results, and a record of creative feedback that teams acted on. Experience in jewelry, luxury, fashion or beauty is a bonus. - Clear communication: You can turn performance data into plain-language insight that creative and brand teams can act on. - Nice to have: SQL, a BI tool, Shopify, pixel or Conversions API troubleshooting, lift studies, creative analytics tools, and experience using AI tools to speed up analysis - We're building an AI-fluent organization. We welcome candidates at all stages of their AI journey — what matters is curiosity, a willingness to learn, and an openness to working alongside AI tools as part of how we do our best work. **Benefits at Mejuri:** - A minimum of four weeks vacation, plus personal days and three religious/cultural observance days. - A hybrid work model for all corporate roles - ‘Mejuri Passport’ which allows employees who meet specific criteria to work in other locations for one month per year. - Comprehensive medical and dental benefits, including mental health coverage, and generous personal and sick days for our full-time employees.
