Job Title: Hand Sewing Operative
We have an exciting opportunity for Hand Sewing Operative to join our Needlework Department.
This is a full time, permanent position working 38 hours per week as follows:
Monday to Thursday 0700-1600, and Friday 0700-1100.
Rate of pay for this role is £13.45 per hour.
About the Role
As a Needlework Operative here at Johnstons of Elgin, you will be
• Hand sewing labels and adding logos to our luxury products, including scarves and blankets
• Adding embroidered logos to products
• Removing backing materials and trimming excess threads
• Following detailed instructions carefully and accurately
• Working with a high level of attention to detail to ensure products meet our quality standards
• Taking pride in producing work to a consistently high standard
• Working efficiently to achieve the required output levels and meet our production plan
• Working as part of a team to support the smooth running of the Needlework Department
