Job description
Reports to: Harrisburg Campus Pastor Direct Consultant: Central Director of kidMinistry Location: LCBC Harrisburg Hours Commitment: Full-time (40-45 hours per week) with regular weekend responsibilities and Monday night gathering Objective: To lead and support kidMinistry in a way where Life Change happens, One Kid at a Time. The heartbeat of your role involves inviting others to serve by vision casting how lives can be changed while keeping Jesus at the center of all you do. ### Primary Responsibilities - MINISTRY: - Ability to execute and own all kidMinistry programs, operational systems, processes, and guidelines. - Responsible for implementation of kidMinistry at LCBC location. - Engage in advancing ministry by continually sharing vision of what we do and believe. - Uphold kidMinistry’s values: Engaging Kids, Empowering Parents, and Equipping Leaders. - Drive growth for kidMinistry attendance for both kids and volunteers over previous year. - Understand and maintain a +60% volunteer-to-kid attendance by monitoring weekly. - Have visible presence of connecting with families on the weekends. ### Primary Responsibilities - LEADERSHIP: - Develop new leaders by embodying, utilizing and executing a Lead Small Culture. - Identify and grow a volunteer(s) to be the primary replacement leader(s) for your position, someone to do your job. - Empower and release kidMinistry leaders, delegating to others to be the Church. - Support your LCBC campus team in the development of the local church community. ### Preferred Skills and Experiences: - Confident and capable in leading, developing, empowering, and resourcing volunteers. - Has organizational management skills and can lead with excellence. - Strong communicator who listens well and inspires others into action. ### Personal Qualifications: - Have a personal relationship with Jesus and demonstrate ongoing spiritual growth through everyday habits and practices. - Support LCBC’s mission to introduce people to Jesus and together fully follow him, along with our ministry philosophy, priorities, and beliefs. - Be a leader who is: - **Focused:** Work hard with urgency and intensity - **Collaborative:** Bring others into your work, give and ask for feedback - **Growth-minded:** Plan for growth and be ready for when God wants to move by pursuing personal, spiritual, and professional development - Lead the way in LCBC’s values: We run after the one, we pursue excellence, we prioritize relationships, we deploy people for impact, and we are real and relatable. - Be an LCBC Partner, or willing to become one within 60 days of employment.
