Head of Corporate Marketing

Job description

Jellyfish is looking for a Head of Corporate Marketing to shape how we show up in the market and lead the conversation around AI's impact on software development. You'll own our brand, communications, editorial, analyst relations, social, and executive voice—turning proprietary data and insights into a compelling market narrative. Reporting to the CMO, you'll build our market presence, and establish Jellyfish as a trusted authority among engineering leaders. This is a strategic, hands-on role for a builder who thrives on creating momentum and driving impact. **Let's talk about what you'll do:** - **Own our narrative:** Partner with the CMO, CEO, Research, and Product Marketing to define our market positioning and turn proprietary insights into compelling stories. - **Drive market influence:** Lead PR, analyst relations, executive communications, and thought leadership to elevate Jellyfish's visibility and credibility. - **Build our content engine:** Oversee editorial strategy, research releases, and a consistent corporate news calendar that drives market engagement. - **Elevate our brand:** Own brand identity, messaging, and creative direction across channels. - **Lead modern discovery:** Connect organic search, AI-driven discovery, and social media to expand our reach and influence. - **Build and lead the team:** Develop a high-performing corporate marketing function, leveraging AI to increase efficiency and impact. - **Measure success:** Own share of voice and track brand influence, message adoption, and contribution to demand creation. **Let’s talk about what you need to excel:** - 10+ years in corporate marketing, communications, or brand, including 5+ years leading teams in B2B technology. - Experience building compelling narratives and elevating brands during periods of market or category transformation. - Strong understanding of technical audiences, ideally engineering leaders and developers. - Proven success across PR, content, brand, analyst relations, and executive communications. A list of job experiences and qualification requirements is great, but humility, a performance-driven attitude, and a team-player approach are most important to us. We love to have fun and win in the process. We only hire people who have a passion for building great companies in an environment where a sense of humor is a must. Occasional travel may be required. Applicants must be authorized to work for **any** employer in the US. **We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.** We are aware that third-party recruiters may contact candidates about Jellyfish opportunities without our authorization. Please know that not all individuals or agencies claiming to recruit for Jellyfish are affiliated with or authorized by our company. We encourage candidates to verify opportunities through our official careers page and exercise caution when responding to unsolicited recruiting messages. If you have any concerns about the legitimacy of an outreach, please contact our Talent Acquisition team directly. **Let’s talk about us!** This is all about you, but you want to know a little about us.
