JoomPro is the first and only end-to-end cross-border B2B marketplace. It serves small, medium, and large businesses, handling orders of any size from start to finish. Today, JoomPro operates in Brazil and Mexico, with plans to expand into other markets. Joom Group also includes other businesses: Joom, a global cross-border marketplace; JoomPulse, an AI analytics tool for Mercado Livre sellers; and Onfy, a pharmaceutical marketplace in Germany. We work as one international team, sharing knowledge and collaborating across countries, businesses and products. We are looking for a Head of Customs and Logistics to manage JoomPro's logistics and customs operations in Brazil, lead a team, and drive continuous improvement across customs clearance, certification, and warehouse coordination. Responsibilities Manage and control the full scope of Brazil logistics operations: customs clearance, logistics providers, certification, and warehouse coordination Own relationships with logistics providers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers; negotiate tariffs and service levels Identify, evaluate, and onboard new logistics and customs partners on an ongoing basis Build and refine operational processes with each partner based on hands-on analysis of performance data Track delivery performance and benchmark contracted rates against the market to drive continuous improvement Lead and develop the local logistics and customs team Requirements Hands-on experience managing international logistics operations End-to-end expertise in customs clearance operations Proven track record leading and developing operational logistics teams Experience finding new logistics/customs partners and negotiating tariffs and contracts Comfortable working through day-to-day operational details as well as high-level strategy Fluent English and Portuguese Preferred Background in a retail company importing from China, at a logistics/customs service provider, or at a Comex company Familiarity with Brazilian import modalities such as Importação por Encomenda and Importação por Conta e Ordem We offer Compensation package: base salary and performance-based bonuses, CLT employment Office-first: flexible hours with a possibility to work remotely 52 days per year, and 30 days of paid annual leave Care & Wellbeing: extended health insurance for the employees, their spouses, and children (including dental care), transportation and daily meal allowance, and 100% paid sick leave AI-first approach: licenses and access to a wide range of AI tools Team & Growth: collaboration with colleagues across Portugal, Brazil, Latvia and China, with opportunities for promotions, professional trainings, and English courses Community & Engagement: annual team building activities, knowledge-sharing workshops, and a strong sense of team work Before applying for the above position please review our Candidate Privacy Notice here: By responding to the vacancy, you acknowledge that you have read our Privacy notice
