What you’ll do Lead the company's long range planning, budgeting and forecasting processes. Drive target setting, performance management, resource allocation and investment prioritisation, providing insights and challenge to support achievement of the company's strategic, financial and operational objectives. Job Responsibilities Translate business strategies into plans, budgets and financial and operational targets (P&L, KPIs, CapEx, B/S, Cash Flow and Working Capital). Lead the LRP, Annual Budgeting and Forecasting processes defining the calendar, models and best practices. Lead the target-setting and performance contract process across the organisation, ensuring robust challenge, clear accountability and alignment with strategic objectives. Lead the monthly performance management process, providing clear insights on business performance, key drivers, risks, opportunities and corrective actions required to deliver agreed financial and operational targets. Own the company-wide Opex planning, monitoring and challenge process and drive cost efficiency initiatives across all functions. Own the Capex planning, governance and investment prioritisation framework, ensuring robust challenge, consistent evaluation criteria and effective allocation of capital across the business. Support strategic decision-making through scenario modelling, financial modelling and investment appraisal. Ensure alignment on statutory information, Group requirements and other stakeholder requirements. Support Investor Relations. Build and maintain market models. Overall responsibility for management of working capital and delivery of cash targets improve forecasting accuracy, decision support and finance productivity. Champion the use of data, advanced analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve forecasting accuracy, business insights and finance productivity. Lead, coach and develop the FP&A, Opex Control and Capex Control teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on insight, accountability and continuous improvement. Who you are Core competencies, knowledge, and experience: Financial and Managerial Accounting (International Finance Reporting Standards,). Corporate Finance Strong understanding of FP&A, performance management, Opex control and Capex governance. Minimum 7 years’ experience including time in a planning and controlling environment Knowledge of SAP and OHP is an advantage Experience in financial modelling, scenario planning and business case evaluation. Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills A professional certification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent) is an advantage Telecoms industry knowledge is an advantage Must have technical / professional qualifications: Masters Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics. Strong analytical skills Extensive experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) through scenario modelling, financial modelling and investment appraisal.
