# Head of International Bakery Merchandising > CP Axtra · Bangkok, Thailand · Full-time · Posted 2026-09-03 **Workplace:** on_site ## Description The objective of this hiring is to bring new knowledge and successful bakery concepts from Top Bakery shops, particularly in the following areas: - Modern bakery and Asian trends - Customer-led new product development - Chilled bakery, bread, croissants, pastry and cake - Product packaging, display and instore experience - China and international supplier sourcing - Commercial management and product-performance analysis The candidate should have strong bakery knowledge and the ability to work with our Commercial, Chef, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain and Store Operations teams. ## Requirements - Identify bakery trends, successful products and customer concepts from China and other Asian markets. - Develop new bakery products for Makro, including bread, croissants, pastries, cakes, chilled bakery and seasonal products. - Adapt international product concepts, flavours, packaging and price points for Thai customers. - Source and manage bakery suppliers from China and other countries, including product selection, negotiation and import coordination. - Work closely with Chefs, R&D, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain and Store Operations to ensure products can be produced and executed consistently. - Build category assortment, pricing, promotion and product-launch plans. - Improve bakery display, packaging and customer experience based on leading bakery-shop practices. - Monitor sales, margin, waste, product performance and customer feedback. - Transfer bakery knowledge and international market insights to the local team. ## Benefits **Health Insurance** – At Makro PRO, we care about your health!
