Head of Sales

Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE As Head of Sales – India, you will own Asite’s commercial growth across India as our first dedicated sales hire in the market. This is a senior, hands-on role covering the full sales lifecycle – from market development and prospecting through negotiation to contract signature – with no established team or pipeline to inherit. You will develop and execute the India go-to-market strategy and build relationships with asset owners, EPCs, contractors, consultants and government bodies. You will report to Regional Senior Leadership and draw on Marketing, Solution Consulting, Customer Success, Professional Services and Product to support your opportunities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Own India sales performance: deliver annual and quarterly targets across new-logo and expansion revenue, with disciplined pipeline and forecasting. – Define and execute the India go-to-market strategy across priority sectors – infrastructure and transport, energy, data centers, real estate and government programmes. – Generate new business directly – outbound prospecting, executive networking, referrals, events and major-project tracking – rather than relying on inbound leads. – Lead enterprise deals end to end, from first engagement through RFPs and negotiation to signature. – Build C-suite and project-delivery relationships at asset owners, EPCs, Tier 1 contractors, consultants and public-sector bodies, positioning Asite as a strategic technology partner. – Grow existing customers from single projects to programme and enterprise agreements, working with Customer Success and Professional Services. – Mobilise global teams across a matrix and bring India market insight back to the business. REQUIREMENTS Must have – 10+ years of B2B enterprise software, SaaS or technology sales experience. – A record of exceeding individual new-business targets by closing complex enterprise deals in India. – Experience building new territories and generating pipeline directly, not relying on inbound leads. – Experience selling to large enterprises and senior executives through long cycles and formal RFPs. – Strong negotiation, deal-structuring, pipeline management and forecasting discipline. – Ability to own a market independently, work in a global matrix, and travel as required. Nice to have – Experience in ConTech, CDE, project management platforms, engineering software or BIM. – Background in enterprise SaaS, ERP, infrastructure technology or capital project systems. – Knowledge of India’s construction, infrastructure, real estate, energy or capital-project environment. – Experience selling to asset owners, EPCs, Tier 1 contractors, consultants or government bodies. – Previous sales-management experience (advantageous, not essential). About Asite We start with a simple idea: the built environment should be smarter, safer and more sustainable. Everything we do is about helping the people behind major construction and infrastructure projects work together more easily and make better decisions. Asite offers a cloud-based platform that connects project teams, improves collaboration and manages data from the first design to the final handover. Industry leaders such as Laing O’Rourke, Transport for London and Aldar use Asite to keep their projects running smoothly and delivering strong results. With offices around the world and a record of steady, profitable growth, we are shaping the future of construction technology while supporting the people who build the world around us.
