Health Technology Assessment Consultant with German - Working from Spain (hybrid or home-based)

Please note that fluency in German language is an absolute must for this role. Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated HTA Analyst / Consultant to be based in Spain and to support health technology assessment (AMNOG) and market access activities in Germany (no travels required). The role is ideally suited for scientists or biostatisticians with a strong interest in applying clinical evidence to reimbursement and market access decision-making. A substantial part of the role involves medical writing . Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the development of German AMNOG dossiers, with a focus on Modules 2–4 Perform scientific assessment of clinical trial data, including efficacy, safety, patient-relevant endpoints, and subgroup analyses Conduct systematic literature reviews and structured evidence syntheses Medical writing, including: AMNOG dossier texts and updates Written statements and responses for G BA procedures and hearings Scientific reports, slide decks, and selected publications Support indirect treatment comparisons and interpretation of statistical outputs Collaborate closely with cross functional teams (Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, EU-HTA Team) Ensure scientific quality, clarity, and consistency of HTA-related documents Monitor and interpret methodological developments from IQWiG, G BA, and relevant HTA bodies Your Profile: Education & Technical Background Master’s degree or PhD in life sciences, biostatistics, epidemiology, pharmacy , or a related field Initial experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access (industry, consultancy, or research institute preferred) Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles Familiarity with the German AMNOG process , IQWiG methodology, or G‑BA procedures is an advantage Medical Writing & Analytical Skills Experience in scientific and medical writing Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to translate complex data into clear, structured, and persuasive text Affinity for data and excellent analytical and conceptual skills. Experience in data analysis (advanced excel skills); familiarity with Python or a programming language is a plus. Strong background in statistics/data sciences/programming ; Proficient in MS Office; experience with reference management tools is a plus >2 years experience in advanced SAS and R programming >2 years hands-on clinical data analysis experience with CDISC SDTM/ADaM datasets Solid understanding of core statistical methods used in clinical trials and HEOR Personal Competencies Structured, reliable, and quality‑driven working style Strong teamwork and communication skills Fluent German and English , written and spoken Strong strategic and critical thinking skills focus on quality, service, and solutions.
