Job Duties:
Equipment Maintenance & Repair
- Diagnose and repair heavy equipment, diesel trucks, trailers, and support vehicles
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical system issues
- Inspect equipment regularly and perform preventative maintenance, including oil changes, filters, lubrication, inspections, brakes, and routine service
- Perform minor welding and fabrication as needed
- Keep maintenance records up to date
Equipment Transportation & Deliveries
- Safely transport equipment, tools, and materials between the yard and jobsites
- Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment using proper safety procedures
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety requirements
- Coordinate deliveries and pickups to support field operations
Yard Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard and shop
- Stage equipment, tools, and materials for upcoming projects
- Fuel, clean, and prepare equipment for daily use
- Report equipment damage, maintenance needs, or safety concerns
- Help keep equipment ready to support field crews
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Experience working on heavy equipment, diesel trucks, trailers, or construction equipment
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Experience performing preventative maintenance and routine repairs
- Ability to safely transport and secure heavy equipment
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Physical Requirements:
