Job description

We’re looking for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Culina Logistics team in Washington, supporting our Chilled operation and delivering to key retail customers across the UK. This is a permanent role offering full-time stability for HGV Class 1 drivers who will be responsible for RDC, Farms and Packhouse deliveries. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards. You’ll be joining a supportive transport team where safe driving, reliable service and high professional standards are valued every day. Shift patterns available Sunday to Thursday (Start window 00:01 - 04:00) Sunday to Thursday (Start window 02:00 - 06:00) Tuesday to Saturday (Start window 02:00 - 06:00) Friday to Monday (Start window 00:01 - 04:00) We offer flexibility in shift patterns and other shift patterns can be considered, let us know what you’re looking for, we’ll do our best to accommodate your preferences. Pay rates Pay rates range from £13.50 - £21.91 per hour depending on shift, plus opportunity for overtime and subsistence allowances Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises across the UK. Complete nationwide deliveries of palletised goods to Regional Distribution Centres, Farms and Packhouses Report to the Transport team at the start of each shift and keep them updated on delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies. Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office. Follow company procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards. Manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules. Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects correctly and take responsibility for your unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required. Maintain a professional standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times.
