Daniels Health is looking for a **Hospital Service Technician** to join our team and help support your assigned hospital with critical medical waste services. This is **not a desk job**—you’ll be on your feet, moving, lifting, and making a real impact every day. This role requires **32-34 hours per week** - making this a great opportunity to **enjoy flexibility** in your week! **REQUIRED LOCATIONS:** **St. Francis Downtown Hospital** - 1 St Francis Dr, Greenville, SC 29601 **St. Francis Downtown Cancer Center** - 104 Innovation Dr, Greenville, SC 29607 **St. Francis Eastside Hospital** - 125 Commonwealth Dr, Greenville, SC 29615 **This position is offering a $1k sign on bonus paid after 90 days of employment!** ### What will your job involve? - Working directly with **hospital staff** to ensure safe and timely **medical waste container exchanges** and proper segregation. - **Inspecting and servicing** Daniels Health containers in clinical areas—this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients. - **Lifting containers** (up to 50 lbs) and **pushing/pulling carts** (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day. - **Maintaining inventory** of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized. - Using a **company-provided smartphone** to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team. - Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service. - Representing Daniels Health with **professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic**. ### What are we looking for? - Someone who’s **physically fit**, comfortable with **heavy lifting**, and enjoys **active, on-the-go work**. - A **team player** who can also work independently without direct supervision. - Strong attention to detail—especially when it comes to **paperwork and procedures**. - A **can-do attitude** and previous experience in a **labor-intensive or logistics role**. ### Why work for us? - **Job stability** – as an essential service to healthcare we are non-seasonal and recession proof - **Benefits day 1** - This position offers benefits starting day 1 of employment! - **Consistent schedule** – M-F, 7am start - **Permanent position –** This is a permanent role with Daniels Health - **Competitive salary –** This position is offering a rate of **$21-23** per hour **WITH mileage reimbursement** for driving between work sites and **a $1k sign on bonus paid after 90 days of employment!**
