Host/Hostess Position Jacinta About Us Jacinta is an upscale dining establishment located in the vibrant Aventura neighborhood. We are seeking an energetic and professional Host/Hostess to join our front-of-house team and create memorable first impressions for our guests. Position Overview The Host/Hostess serves as the first point of contact for our guests, managing reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all who visit our restaurant. Key Responsibilities - Greet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival - Manage restaurant reservations through our booking system - Coordinate seating arrangements and maintain optimal dining room flow - Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries - Maintain an organized and clean reception area - Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff - Assist in maintaining waiting lists during peak hours - Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently Requirements - Must be available to work flexible hours, including: - Lunch and dinner shifts - Weekends - Holidays - Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) - Spanish language proficiency is a plus - Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills - Professional appearance and positive attitude - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities - Previous hospitality experience preferred Physical Requirements - Ability to stand for extended periods - Capable of moving throughout the restaurant quickly and efficiently - May need to assist with light lifting and carrying (up to 15 lbs) What We Offer - Competitive compensation - Growth opportunities - Dynamic work environment - Employee dining benefits - Professional development Schedule - Full-time and part-time positions available - Must have open availability for various shifts - Schedule will include weekends and holidays To Apply Qualified candidates should submit their resume and cover letter detailing their relevant experience and availability.
