*This is a Work Experience (work-based learning) position available through Workforce Solutions Coastal Bend. All candidates will be considered after program eligibility is determined. Job Title: Host Position: FT/PT, 8 am-5 pm, Monday-Friday Location: Corpus Christi Second Chance Employer: No Pay Rate $9.00 an hour Age: 17+ Recruiter: O. Luna Duties: Provide guests with menus. Assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation so that servers receive an appropriate number of seatings. Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas. Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries or transfer calls. Operate cash registers to accept payments for food and beverages.
