Comfort working with multiple pets, including cats and dog About Our Family We’re a down-to-earth blended family navigating the beautiful busyness that comes with raising three school-aged kids (10, 12, and 15), caring for four beloved cats, an Australian Shepherd, and balancing two demanding careers. Our days are full of school schedules, band rehearsals, extracurricular activities, work commitments, and the everyday moments that make a house feel like home. Our children are growing into thoughtful, independent young people with unique interests and personalities. Whether they're immersed in music, gaming, history, or spending time with friends, we love encouraging their curiosity while helping them build confidence and responsibility. Family time matters to us, whether that's enjoying a quiet evening at home, celebrating milestones together, or simply sharing the small moments in between busy schedules. Life moves quickly in our household, and while we're all highly independent and capable, we know that organization and consistent routines are where an extra set of hands would make the biggest difference. We're looking for someone who can help bring structure, consistency, and calm to the moving pieces of daily life, allowing us to spend less time managing logistics and more time simply being together as a family. At the end of the day, we're looking for more than someone to complete a checklist. We hope to find a trusted household partner who enjoys creating order, notices what needs attention before it's asked, and takes genuine pride in making life easier for others. Whether it's helping mornings run more smoothly, organizing a space that's become overwhelming, keeping calendars aligned, or simply ensuring the little things don't fall through the cracks, your work will have a meaningful impact on how our family experiences each day. We hope to find someone who values building a long-term relationship, takes ownership of their role, and finds fulfillment in becoming a trusted, dependable part of our family's everyday life. Who You Are / What We're Looking For You're someone who naturally creates order wherever you go. Organized, dependable, and highly self-directed, you genuinely enjoy bringing structure to busy households and helping families feel more at ease. Rather than waiting for instructions, you notice what needs attention, think a few steps ahead, and quietly take ownership. You don't need a detailed checklist to be successful—you walk into a space, assess what's needed, and confidently create a plan to make it better. You're an excellent communicator who values clarity and efficiency. You know when to ask thoughtful questions, when to make informed decisions on your own, and you're comfortable bringing potential concerns or opportunities to our attention before they become bigger issues. We appreciate someone who is resourceful, solutions-oriented, and enjoys finding creative ways to improve how a household functions, whether that's reorganizing a mudroom, streamlining a pantry, or building systems that make everyday life easier. Just as importantly, you're someone who brings a calm, grounding presence into our home. You're warm with children, genuinely enjoy animals, and understand how to balance professionalism with approachability. You respect healthy boundaries while naturally becoming a trusted part of the household, making life easier without needing to be the center of attention. You take pride in supporting others behind the scenes and find fulfillment in knowing your work creates more time, less stress, and greater peace of mind for the families you serve.
