Our home is full of energy, laughter, and plenty of toys! Our two older children attend school, while our youngest is home during the day. We love spending time together, especially outdoors, whether playing in the driveway, enjoying the pool area, or simply making the most of family life. Both parents are home throughout the day, pursuing personal projects and enjoying this season with our young children. We already have organizational systems in place and work with a part-time nanny and a cleaning team, but with three little ones, keeping up with the everyday flow of our home can feel like a never-ending task. We're looking for someone who can help us stay ahead of the daily messes, keep laundry moving, maintain our existing systems, and bring a sense of order and calm to our busy household. We also have a second property nearby that we'll be moving into in the future, so occasional check-ins there will be part of the role. Our ideal person will become a trusted, reliable part of our household, someone who can step in, see what needs attention, and take care of it without requiring constant direction. We value initiative, efficiency, and a friendly but professional working relationship that allows everyone to go about their day comfortably. Who You Are / What We're Looking For Proactive and Self-Sufficient: You naturally notice what needs to be done and take action without waiting for instructions. Whether it's a pile of dishes, scattered toys, or laundry that needs folding, you have a 'see it, solve it' mindset. Organized and Detail-Oriented: You enjoy maintaining an orderly home and appreciate the value of established systems. You're comfortable following existing routines while offering thoughtful suggestions when you see opportunities for improvement. Efficient and Task-Focused: You know how to prioritize your time, move between responsibilities, and complete tasks from start to finish. You take pride in making meaningful progress during each shift. Warm, Friendly, and Professional: You're approachable and pleasant while naturally respecting personal space and boundaries. You're comfortable working around parents who are home throughout the day without needing frequent interaction or direction. Comfortable Around Young Children: You enjoy the energy and unpredictability of a household with little ones and can confidently step in to provide occasional childcare, school transportation, or activity support. Flexible and Adaptable: You're comfortable with a schedule that may vary from week to week and can shift between household responsibilities and childcare support as the family's needs evolve. Team-Oriented: You communicate clearly and work collaboratively with the family's existing nanny and cleaning team, helping everyone stay aligned without unnecessary overlap. Comfortable Working Indoors and Outdoors: You're happy moving throughout a multi-level home and tending to outdoor play spaces, including spending time outside during warm Georgia weather. Dependable and Trustworthy: You are punctual, consistent, respectful of the family's privacy, and committed to creating a supportive, long-term working relationship. Responsibilities Household Organization & Daily Resets Maintain the family's existing organizational systems, keeping spaces functional, tidy, and easy to navigate. Assist with linen changes and rotation as needed. Maintain an organized, well-stocked laundry area. Meal Preparation & Kitchen Support Plan and prepare approximately two family meals per week, focusing on simple, practical options that make dinner easier. Prepare slow-cooker meals, batch-prepped ingredients, or nearly finished dishes that the family can easily complete at mealtime. Prepare healthy snacks and lunchbox components for the children ahead of time. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and complete cleanup following meal preparation. Childcare & Family Support Provide occasional backup childcare and light supervision for the family's three young children. Assist with school drop-offs, pickups, and transportation to activities as needed, using the family vehicle. Prepare children's backpacks, clothing, snacks, and school essentials. Support children's daily routines and help keep their belongings organized. Assist with occasional evening childcare or date-night coverage when mutually agreed upon. Collaborate with the family's existing nanny to ensure a smooth and supportive household routine. Errands & Household Logistics Handle incoming mail and packages, including sorting deliveries and breaking down boxes. Complete occasional dry-cleaning drop-offs and pickups. Prepare and transport household donations. Assist with packing and unpacking for family travel, ensuring suitcases and travel items are put away promptly. Help prepare the home for occasional guests, holidays, and family gatherings. Care for fresh flower arrangements, including refreshing water and maintaining their appearance. Outdoor Spaces & Property Support Tidy outdoor play areas, including gathering toys and belongings from the driveway and surrounding spaces. Sweep outdoor areas and wipe down seating as needed.
