Overview: This opening is for our Housekeeper I position. Employees could perform their work at any or all of our locations below depending on their manager's direction. Main Campus 700 Children's Drive Columbus Ohio, 43205 Livingston Ambulatory Center: 380 Butterfly Gardens Drive Columbus, OH 43215 Livingston Orthopedic and Surgery Center: 405 Butterfly Gardens Drive Columbus, OH 43215 Conference Center: 520 Butterfly Gardens Drive Columbus, OH 43215 This position is specifically for 1st Shift. You must be able to work our required schedule of Tuesday-Saturday 7a-3:30p with rotating holidays to be considered. Job Description Summary: Provides high levels of cleanliness, quality, and service to patients, families and customers. Job Description: Essential Functions: Cleans and services patient care areas, offices, lobbies, bathrooms or other areas as assigned. Demonstrates knowledge of 10 Step Cleaning Process and appropriate chemical use to meet department standards. Performs routine cleaning and coordinates with management to address and resolve facility maintenance, service issues and other concerns. Practices proper methods of Infection Control in conjunction with cleaning procedures. Maintains proper use and knowledge of PPE and door precautions. Maintains closet, housekeeping cart and cleaning equipment in clean, orderly and good working condition. Maintains department’s standards of practice as evidenced by quality control inspections and customer feedback. Education Requirement: High School graduate or equivalent, required. Skills: Ability to speak and understand English. Demonstrate high degree of proficiency in the 10 Step Cleaning Process. Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Demonstrates ability to prioritize and multi-task. Displays positive customer service skills and promotes a team atmosphere. Experience: Previous housekeeping experience, preferred.
