Job description
Viridien ( ) is an advanced technology, digital and Earth data company that pushes the boundaries of science for a more prosperous and sustainable future. With our ingenuity, drive and deep curiosity we discover new insights, innovations, and solutions that efficiently and responsibly resolve complex natural resource, digital, energy transition and infrastructure challenges. Job Details: New-Logo Hunter | Paris Region | Individual Contributor We are seeking a commercially driven new-logo seller to build pipeline and win customers for Viridien’s HPC and AI capabilities across France and continental Europe. This is a hands-on individual-contributor role for someone who enjoys opening doors, creating demand in markets that may not yet understand why they need HPC, and converting technical discovery into funded pilots and recurring commercial relationships. About the Team We are a diverse and dynamic sales team working across France, the UK, and Houston, bringing together commercial and technical expertise to grow Viridien’s HPC and AI business in new markets. This role strengthens our presence in France, providing local French-language coverage and building connections across the Paris and Massy technology ecosystem while collaborating closely with colleagues across our international team. We work together to identify new opportunities, understand complex customer challenges, and translate Viridien’s HPC and AI capabilities into meaningful business solutions. Our team values collaboration, curiosity, continuous learning, and innovation, and we take pride in sharing knowledge and supporting one another as we develop new markets and build lasting customer relationships. This is a hands-on individual-contributor role where success comes from proactively creating new opportunities, building relationships, and working closely with technical specialists to move opportunities forward. It is not a people-management role or primarily an account-maintenance position; it is an opportunity to play an active role in expanding our presence in France and across continental Europe as part of a collaborative global team. Key Responsibilities Build a territory plan with named accounts, priority segments, buyer hypotheses and weekly prospecting actions Qualify opportunities rigorously: business problem, workload, urgency, stakeholder map, budget path, competitive context and next step Drive the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract closure, including early-stage pilots and proof-of-value engagements. Generate self-sourced pipeline through targeted outbound activity, cold outreach, social selling, events, referrals and partner channels. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners. Coordinate effectively with solutions architects, HPC experts, delivery, pricing, legal, marketing and partners while retaining commercial ownership Capture market learning and turn successful customer patterns into repeatable plays for the broader team. Maintain accurate CRM hygiene, opportunity stages, next actions, forecast rationale and close plans. Define mutual action plans for pilots with clear success metrics, commercial conversion criteria, owners and dates so pilots do not become open-ended technical exercises. Lead early customer discovery and translate complex HPC, AI and infrastructure capabilities into measurable business outcomes. Qualifications: Required: Approximately 3–6 years of B2B technology sales or business-development experience, with evidence of personally creating pipeline and winning new business. Exceptional candidates outside this range may be considered based on demonstrated results.5 Demonstrated success opening and growing new markets or verticals, from initial discovery through early revenue. Expertise in complex deal orchestration, managing long sales cycles and multi-party decision processes, often involving technical and scientific stakeholders. Experience selling complex technology, infrastructure, cloud, AI, data platforms, engineering software, scientific computing or another consultative solution into multi-stakeholder buying groups. Strong stakeholder management across customers, partners, and internal teams, including close collaboration with technical and solutions architecture groups. Self-directed, coachable, resilient and willing to travel for customers, partners, events and regular collaboration in Massy. Professional fluency in French and English, with strong written and verbal communication in both languages. A true hunter mindset: comfortable with cold outreach, rejection, ambiguity and building a territory without relying on inbound leads or a dedicated BDR team. Preferred: Ability to learn technical concepts quickly, ask credible discovery questions and work effectively with specialist technical teams. Direct HPC expertise is valuable but not mandatory. Benefits: An international culture in which the well-being and development of our employees are a top priority Attractive salary and bonus scheme Initial 25 days of annual leaves + 14 days of paid reduced working time per year PEE/PERCO/CET Pension Savings Plan Hybrid work: up to 2 days per week working from home. Access to company restaurant with subsidized price Access to benefits from Company works council Reimbursement of 50% of public transportation card in Ile-de-France region Attractive sustainable mobility incentive Love sports? Access to equipped Gym with reasonable price. Wellbeing Teale app – for helping you to evaluate and improve your mental health.
