HR Business Partner

Job description

# **Life at UiPath** The people at UiPath believe in the transformative power of automation to change how the world works. We’re committed to creating category-leading enterprise software that unleashes that power. To make that happen, we need people who are curious, self-propelled, generous, and genuine. People who love being part of a fast-moving, fast-thinking growth company. And people who care—about each other, about UiPath, and about our larger purpose. Could that be you? UiPath is looking for an experienced, business-minded HR Business Partner to support leaders across our Americas Go-to-Market organization. You will be an advisor and trusted partner to sales leadership, helping leaders build high-performing teams, strengthen their people-management capabilities, and translate business priorities into practical people strategies. The ideal candidate combines strong HR expertise with the business acumen, judgment, and influence needed to operate effectively in a fast-moving technology and sales environment. You will partner closely with leaders on everything from organizational effectiveness, talent and performance management, and workforce planning to compensation, employee relations, and leadership development. Just as importantly, we are looking for a builder. Our environment moves quickly, priorities evolve, and the answer will not always come from an established playbook. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, solving immediate business problems while identifying opportunities to improve how we operate, and turning what works into repeatable practices for the broader team. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the business, wants meaningful ownership, and is energized by helping leaders and organizations become more effective. **What You'll Do** ● Serve as a trusted HR Business Partner to senior Go-to-Market leaders, developing a deep understanding of their organizations, business priorities, talent, and operating rhythms. ● Advise leaders on people strategy, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, organizational design, talent decisions, and leadership effectiveness. ● Coach leaders on the fundamentals of managing high-performing teams, including goal setting, performance management, difficult performance conversations, talent development, and employee transitions. ● Lead performance and talent programs, including review cycles, talent reviews, succession planning, and performance improvement plans. ● Translate company-wide People programs into practical approaches that fit the needs of the business, and help leaders connect talent, performance, and compensation decisions. ● Navigate employee relations matters with sound judgment, partnering with Employee Relations and other Centers of Excellence when needed. ● Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Development, Employee Relations, and other People functions to deliver integrated solutions to the business. ● Use data and business context to identify trends, diagnose problems, and recommend actions that improve performance, retention, engagement, and the employee experience. ● Identify gaps in existing processes, build practical solutions, and share what works across the HRBP team. ● Support organizational changes, job changes, promotions, transfers, onboarding, offboarding, and other key moments throughout the employee lifecycle. ● Contribute to People initiatives and cross-functional projects while balancing the day-to-day needs of your organizations. ● Comply at all times with UiPath policies available on Inside UiPath. **What You'll Bring** ● 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including meaningful experience as an HR Business Partner or in a comparable role partnering directly with business leaders. ● Strong business acumen and the ability to connect people decisions to business objectives. ● Experience supporting fast-moving organizations where priorities, organizational structures, and business needs evolve frequently. ● Credibility with leaders and the ability to influence decisions without direct authority. ● Strong coaching skills and experience helping leaders with performance management, talent development, employee relations, and other people matters. ● A track record of navigating ambiguity, taking initiative, and building scalable approaches rather than only executing existing processes. ● Excellent communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills across functions and levels, including HR Centers of Excellence. ● Solid knowledge of HR practices across performance, talent, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, and compensation. **Preferred Qualifications** ● Experience supporting Customer Success, Sales, Post-Sales, or Pre-Sales Engineering organizations, and familiarity with their operating rhythms, including sales compensation, performance cycles, and annual planning. ● Experience in a technology, SaaS, or similarly fast-paced environment. ● Curiosity about AI and a willingness to experiment with it to improve how you work and how HR supports the business. ● Experience with Workday or a comparable HRIS platform. ● Experience working in a global, matrixed organization. **What Success Looks Like** You quickly earn the trust of the leaders you support, understand what matters to their business, and turn that understanding into better people decisions. You know when to use existing programs, when to adapt them, and when to build something better. You can handle an urgent people issue today and then ask how to make the process better tomorrow. Above all, you help leaders become stronger people leaders and help us keep building a high-performing Go-to-Market organization. **Location** This role is based in Austin, Texas and is hybrid. Regular in-office presence is expected to enable close partnership with the leaders, employees, and HR colleagues this role supports. #LI-MH1 Maybe you don’t tick all the boxes above—but still think you’d be great for the job? Go ahead, apply anyway. Please. Because we know that experience comes in all shapes and sizes—and passion can’t be learned. Many of our roles allow for flexibility in when and where work gets done.
