The ideal candidate is a trusted resource who demonstrates professionalism, confidentiality, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to employees and management. Job Requirements - Support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. - Administer employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and employee communications. - Coordinate leave administration, including Family and Medical Leave (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodations, and other protected leaves. - Administer the organization's workers' compensation program, including reporting workplace injuries, coordinating with insurance carriers and medical providers, monitoring claims, managing return-to-work processes, and maintaining required documentation. - Maintain accurate employee records and Human Resources Information System (HRIS) data while ensuring confidentiality. - Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, leave, payroll, and HR procedures. - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. - Prepare HR reports, audits, and compliance documentation. - Assist with policy development, process improvements, and special HR projects. - Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information. **Required Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. - Two or more years of Human Resources experience in a generalist or related HR role. - Experience administering workers' compensation claims and leave management programs. - Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, COBRA, and workers' compensation regulations. - Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills. - Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). - Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion. - Pass a background check and Pre-employment Drug Screen **Preferred Qualifications** - SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred. - Experience with payroll processing and benefits administration. - Experience with Leave Management, FMLA, LOA, Workers Compensation, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodations, and other protected leaves. - Experience supporting a multi-state/multi-site organization. - Spanish/English bilingual. **Work Environment** - This is an onsite position at our Indianapolis office location (this is not a remote position)
