Let's create impact beyond tomorrow What awaits you Job Purpose To lead and manage Human Resources and Industrial Relations functions in the manufacturing plant, ensuring a productive work environment, statutory compliance, strong employee engagement, and harmonious labor relations aligned with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities Human Resource Management Oversee end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee lifecycle management Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company objectives Drive talent management, retention, and succession planning Industrial Relations (IR) Maintain harmonious relations with unions and workmen Handle wage negotiations, settlements, and union discussions Manage grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and dispute resolution Represent the organization in conciliation proceedings, labor courts (if required) Statutory Compliance Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory regulations, such as: Factories Act Industrial Disputes Act Shops & Establishment Act PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity Labour Codes Coordinate audits and ensure 100% compliance documentation Employee Engagement & Welfare Drive employee engagement initiatives, welfare programs, and communication Promote a positive work culture and high morale Manage canteen, transport, safety, and welfare activities Performance & HR Analytics Implement performance management systems (PMS) Monitor HR metrics such as attrition, absenteeism, productivity Support leadership with HR data insights for decision-making Training & Development Identify training needs and drive learning & development programs Focus on technical skill development for shop-floor employees Support leadership development initiatives Plant Administration Oversee plant administration activities including security, housekeeping, and facilities Ensure smooth day-to-day operations in coordination with plant teams Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Support Collaborate with HSE teams to ensure safe working conditions Promote zero-incident workplace culture Your Profile You contribute Key Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of labor laws and IR practices Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills Leadership and team management capability Strong communication and interpersonal skills Problem-solving and decision-making ability High integrity and compliance mindset Qualifications & Experience MBA / MSW in Human Resources / Industrial Relations 8–15+ years of experience in manufacturing HR & IR roles Hands-on experience in unionized environments (mandatory for most roles) Key KPIs Industrial harmony (no major disputes/strikes) Employee retention and engagement levels Statutory compliance (zero non-compliance) Employee productivity and absenteeism Timely closure of grievances Your application Interested?
