A growing professional services firm is seeking an experienced **Human Resources Specialist** to support the full employee lifecycle in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys partnering with employees, improving processes, and making a meaningful impact across the organization. **Overview** The Human Resources Specialist will serve as a key resource for employees and managers, supporting benefits administration, employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and HR operations. This role works closely with recruiting, payroll, finance, and leadership to deliver a positive employee experience and ensure efficient HR processes. ### Key Responsibilities - Administer employee benefits and coordinate with third-party vendors - Manage leave of absence programs, accommodations, and related documentation - Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation programs - Interpret and communicate HR policies and procedures - Respond to employee HR inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality - Manage offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates - Support recruiting efforts through interview coordination and candidate communication - Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws - Assist with performance review cycles and HR projects focused on process improvement ### Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - 4+ years of HR experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment supporting multiple offices - PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred - Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (ADP experience preferred) - Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy ### Why Join? - Opportunity to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with room for professional growth - Hybrid work schedule - Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), profit sharing, HSA/FSA, life insurance, disability coverage, and pet insurance
