What's in it for You? $50,000 to $90,000 per year, plus performance-based incentives Sign-on bonus up to $2,000 Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Rotating weekend on-call schedule Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off Annual performance-based bonus opportunities Company vehicle and fuel card provided Company-supplied tools Life insurance coverage Ongoing HVAC training and continuing education opportunities Why You’ll Love It Here Consistent commercial HVAC service work throughout the year A team that values quality repairs, accurate diagnostics, and dependable service Well-maintained company vehicles and the equipment needed to do your job An organized on-call rotation shared across the team Opportunities to expand your commercial HVAC and HVAC/R knowledge Career advancement opportunities as your skills and experience grow Support from an experienced, approachable team Your New Role Work as a Commercial HVAC Technician serving Tampa, Florida, and surrounding areas Perform service, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC and HVAC/R equipment Diagnose and repair rooftop units, split systems, refrigeration equipment, and related systems Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, airflow, and HVAC control issues Service ductwork, electrical components, and control systems Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, technical schematics, and equipment documentation Use HVAC diagnostic tools and service equipment to identify problems and complete repairs Clearly explain equipment conditions and recommended repairs to customers Complete service records and work documentation accurately Keep your assigned company vehicle clean, organized, and properly stocked Follow established safety procedures and applicable HVAC industry standards Hiring Expectations: Apply today, complete a quick phone screening, and get ready for an interview with our team to discuss your goals and experience. At least 3 years of commercial HVAC or HVAC/R service experience EPA Type II Certification or Universal EPA Certification Commercial HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics Experience using HVAC service tools and diagnostic equipment Valid driver's license Willingness to complete written and verbal trade assessments Experience servicing HVAC systems in restaurant and medical facilities preferred Design Temp of Florida Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
