Position: HVOF Blaster Shift: ( Days) Monday-Friday 6:00 AM- 2:30PM with some OT as needed Position Overview: The primary purpose of this position is to sandblast valves for customer shipment. Job Responsibilities: Strives to meet production schedules without sacrifice to quality or health and safety standards Able to read and understand VTI sand blast and paint procedures Protect any machine surface prior to sandblasting Sandblast to SSPC-SP10 near white metal May perform any other work-related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by immediate supervisor Operate forklift when needed Core Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 1 years’ experience sandblasting Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demanding Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Works well meeting multiple deadlines with the ability to deliver on time Operate blast cabinet, walk in blast cabinet, and pot blasters
