Job Description Lead the organization's Integrated Management System (IMS) by establishing a unified governance framework across all management systems, ensuring that governance remains consistent, resilient, and continuously improving regardless of organizational changes. The role provides strategic ownership of the IMS governance lifecycle, integrating multiple ISO management systems into a single enterprise governance model while enabling the team to execute through clearly defined lifecycle ownership rather than functional specialization. Primary Accountability Own the Governance Oversight lifecycle of the Integrated Management System. The IMS Governance Head is accountable for ensuring that management systems remain: Strategically aligned Fully integrated Audit-ready Performance-driven Continuously improving Key Responsibilities 1. IMS Strategy & Governance Develop the enterprise IMS strategy and roadmap. Define governance principles, standards and operating model. Ensure integration across all ISO management systems. Drive simplification and harmonization of management processes. Align IMS priorities with corporate strategy and enterprise risk 2. Governance Oversight Provide executive oversight over the entire governance lifecycle. Own: Governance framework Management system architecture Governance calendar Certification strategy Governance maturity roadmap Enterprise governance priorities Ensure clear ownership across the team while maintaining governance consistency. 3. Executive Governance Lead governance activities including: Management Review Executive dashboards Governance reporting KPI governance Risk escalation Executive decision support Present governance performance to senior leadership. 4. Certification Governance Own enterprise certification strategy. Responsibilities include: Certification planning Registrar relationship management Surveillance planning Recertification planning Cross-standard integration Audit readiness oversight Ensure certifications remain sustainable rather than event-driven. 5. Enterprise Performance & Improvement Establish governance mechanisms to monitor: IMS effectiveness Governance maturity Audit performance Corrective action effectiveness Process health Compliance trends Translate governance insights into strategic improvement initiatives. 6. Leadership & Capability Development Lead the IMS Governance team through lifecycle ownership. Provide strategic direction for: Governance priorities Resource allocation Workload balancing Competency development Succession planning Cross-training Knowledge continuity Institutionalize governance knowledge rather than concentrating expertise in individuals. 7. Stakeholder Management Build governance partnerships across the organization. Collaborate with: Business Units Enterprise Risk Information Security Information Systems Sustainability HR Operations Internal Audit External Auditors Regulators Drive governance as an enterprise capability rather than a compliance function.
