From breakdowns and preventative maintenance to factory installations, commercial projects and industrial automation, no two days are the same.
What you’ll be doing
- Industrial and commercial electrical installations
- Fault finding and breakdown response
- Preventative maintenance across a range of industrial sites
- Factory upgrades, switchboards and motor control systems
- Commissioning and testing electrical installations
- Working on PLC and automation systems (or learning from experienced programmers)
- Reading electrical drawings and completing job documentation
- Leading installation teams on selected projects
- Mentoring apprentices and junior electricians
What we’re looking for
- NZ Registered Electrician with a current practising licence
- Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical work
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience with motor control systems and industrial equipment
- PLC or automation experience is an advantage but not essential—we’re happy to develop the right person
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Full New Zealand Driver Licence
- A positive attitude and pride in delivering quality workmanship
