International Airport of Heraklion, Crete is currently looking for a: Industrial Control Engineer (BMS & CMS)ResponsibilitiesSupports the package manager on BMS, SCADA, CMS, and Environment Management systems design, installation, testing and commissioning in Crete Airport. System Design Phase: Works with all the stakeholders to understand airport operational needs and translates them into requirements. Supports package manager for recording the requirements collected from the clients and stakeholders and incorporates them into the design and sign-off and approvals. Collaborates with sub-system providers and collects the interface requirements to deploy and integrates applications with airport infrastructure. Assists package manager to evaluate the tender designs and prepare the report. Aids Package manager to do design value engineering. Supports package manager in line with local and European standards. Reviews the design provided by the vendor and attend the meetings. System Installation Phase: Monitors and reports on the works executed in line with design and local & international standards. Coordinates and manages the sub-contractor’s day-to-day work and makes sure the contractor meets the project timeline. Liaises with other services and resolves site-level issues. Oversees the site-level material status and validates the material delivered in line with the contract. Reports on the daily/Weekly IT progress of works to the reporting manager. Collaborates with non-IT contractors for the readiness of IT-related fronts for installation. Coordinates with all sub-system providers and enables the system interface. Supports package manager to keep the system's budget and schedule under control. Stakeholder Management: Manages requirement collection and sign-off. Coordinates testing and commissioning and integration of IT systems. Facilitates getting design approvals, necessary permits and procedures to start at the site. Follows up with the system provider for design, ICD and all project-related document delivery on time. Works with Client, main & sub-contractors, IE, Airlines, police, and other airport stakeholders. Organizes and conducts all the tests as per the requirement. Coordinates and arranges training as per the requirement.
