Infrastructure Windows Engineer – Internship Unum Ireland - 2027 IT Internship Program Infrastructure Windows Engineer Intern Summary – Infrastructure - Windows Team Windows Hosting Intern is responsible for providing entry-level technical support and assistance in managing Windows-based hosting environments. This role involves troubleshooting basic issues, monitoring system performance, and executing routine maintenance tasks under supervision. Key Responsibilities: Provide first-level support for Windows hosting-related incidents. Perform basic troubleshooting of server and application issues. Assist in routine maintenance tasks, such as updates and backups. Monitor system performance and escalate issues as needed. Collaborate with Level 2 Engineers for issue resolution. Document support activities and solutions for knowledge base. Role Requirements: Basic understanding of Windows server environments. Familiarity with server hardware and software components. Strong communication and problem-solving skills . Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Fundamentals) are a plus.
