Job Description: Principle Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on an inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit to a diverse population Develops behaviorally-focused, outcomes-based treatment plans that address mental health, functional impairment, and co-occurring addictive or medical disorders Consults with providers to assist with ongoing management of the behavioral health needs of their patients. Required Qualifications Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or foreign equivalent from an approved school of medicine Completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited Residency training program in Psychiatry or foreign equivalency training Licenses/Certifications MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required BE/BC with completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited Residency training program in Psychiatry or foreign equivalency training Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain) Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI) Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable BLS/ACLS required within 180 days of hire Physical Demands Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs. frequently Pay Range Pay Range: $340,025 to $351,000 per year The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
