This technician role involves traveling to local job sites in a company-provided truck and assisting with residential and light commercial solar installations. The ideal technician is dependable, safety-focused, and eager to grow within the solar industry. ### Key Responsibilities - Install and support residential and commercial solar systems on job sites - Assist with mounting, wiring, and testing solar equipment - Travel between local work sites using a company-provided vehicle - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment - Follow company procedures and safety standards on all solar projects - Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and professionally - Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams while representing the company positively ### Qualifications - 1-2 years of solar experience required - Valid driver’s license required - High school diploma or equivalent - Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen - Comfortable working outdoors and at heights ### Work Environment - This position primarily involves working in the field at work sites - Must be able to work in varied weather conditions and in a physically demanding environment. - Must be able to occasionally lift and carry 50 lbs. - Ability to climb ladders to determine work needs ### Driving - Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record that meets company and insurance requirements to travel to and from work sites.
